FAQ
Yes, this creamy sauce is a delicious option to use as salad dressings or a dipping sauce on a vegetable tray.
That pop of color comes from the paprika and cayenne pepper powder. This, in addition to the horseradish is what provides a strong depth of flavor.
I have always found this tricky to find but there are a few places I check in every store and typically they are hiding in one of the areas. If it is fresh prepared horseradish, you will find it in the refrigerator section either near the seafood or in the dairy aisle. I have also found it in the condiment section if it is preserved.
This homemade horseradish sauce is the perfect accompaniment when served on roast beef sandwiches, french dip sandwiches, steak sandwiches and can also be delicious on a grilled or fried chicken breast sandwich. I also find it is a great addition to serve on a hot dog.
